diagrams.net (previously draw.io[2][3]) is a free and open source cross-platform graph drawing software developed in HTML5 and JavaScript.[4] Its interface can be used to create diagrams such as flowcharts, wireframes, UML diagrams, organizational charts, and network diagrams.[5]
In 2005, development began on mxGraph, which is a graph drawing software library written in JavaScript using HTML5 and SVG technologies.[19] The project was publicly released in 2006, and supported Firefox 1.5 and Internet Explorer 5.5.[19][20]
In February 2020, the company announced on its blog that the hosted version of the web application would move from "draw.io" to the "diagrams.net" domain, citing security reasons.[2] The move was completed a month later.[26][3] The software library, file format, and integrated services remain branded as "drawio".

Chart.js is an open-source JavaScript library that supports eight different types of charts. It's only 60kb in size, thus it's a rather small JS library. Radar, inline charts, pie charts, bar charts, scatter plots, area charts, bubble charts, and mixed charts are all provided. The samples are fairly modern in appearance, and they feature the first animations when drawing for the first time. Time series are also supported. It uses the canvas element for rendering, and it is sensitive to window resizing to preserve scale granularity. It is backward compatible with Internet Explorer 9. Polyfills are also available to work with IE7.
FusionCharts is the most complete JavaScript library on the market, with over 90 chart options and 900 maps that are ready to use right now. They claim to have the best-looking charts in the industry, and they back it up with a robust reporting experience via dashboards. That provides a birds-eye perspective of all business activities.
Victory does an excellent behavior of laying out the foundations for creating a chart. Customizing axes, labels, and passing in several data sets for a single graph is all rather simple, and adjusting style options and behavior is simple and intuitive. It's very effective, open-source and it allows you to create some nice-looking charts with very little code. It's worth a look if you're looking for cross-platform software.
Chartist.js is a cutting-edge SVG library. The SVG animations in the charts created with this library are its most notable feature. It has a strong technological foundation, is open-source, and is simple to execute. You can create an exceptionally impressive graphic that interacts with any backend data source in minutes. Chartist is extremely simple to set up, as well as to customize using Sass.
AmCharts is a large library with a variety of chart options that allow users to customize their data display. It's a premium library with a freemium model. The maps and charts can be used by anybody to visualize and analyze data. However, there are a few prominent characteristics that can be charged.
AnyChart is a feature-rich, lightweight, and robust JS chart library that renders in SVG/VML. It provides web developers with a fantastic opportunity to design various charts that will aid in data analysis and data-driven decision-making. Android, Angular, Elasticsearch, iOS, Qlik, Oracle APEX, React, Vue.js, and others can all be integrated. There are numerous samples and dashboards available, as well as a dedicated playground with code autocompletion.
Highcharts is a popular JavaScript charting library that is used by many large companies. Charts are created using SVG and then converted to VML for backward compatibility from IE6 to IE8. The demo charts have several great capabilities, but they aren't visually appealing. The API documentation tutorials may be found here, as well as many other important topics in the general documentation.
Billboard.js is an open-source that is the fairly basic package that comes with a solid variety of charts that help businesses see data. This package is comparable to c3.js charts and is based on D3 version 4. Aside from that, Billboard is a library with a stacked list of charts that any organization may use, as well as a variety of configurable components like axes, legends, and tooltips.
Vis.js is an open-source JavaScript chart library that includes networking, 2D, timeline, and 3D visualization, among other capabilities and sub-libraries. This library's 3D charts are rather uncommon among charting libraries. Apart from that, Vis.js is a library that includes outstanding visualizations in both 2d and 3d formats that can be used for a variety of purposes.
D3.js is an open-source JavaScript library with a BSD License. It contains lots of impressive charts, graphs, and other methods for data visualization. Furthermore, this open-source library gives you almost everything required to visually represent your data.
So here, was the list of the best JavaScript chart libraries. As a JavaScript developer, this list will surely help you out if you are looking to implement charts on your project. Hence, choosing the right chart library becomes very important. I would suggest using those libraries which best fit your needs and requirements.
Here, we present Enrichr, an integrative web-based and mobile software application that includes new gene-set libraries, an alternative approach to rank enriched terms, and various interactive visualization approaches to display enrichment results using the JavaScript library, Data Driven Documents (D3). The software can also be embedded into any tool that performs gene list analysis. We applied Enrichr to analyze nine cancer cell lines by comparing their enrichment signatures to the enrichment signatures of matched normal tissues. We observed a common pattern of up regulation of the polycomb group PRC2 and enrichment for the histone mark H3K27me3 in many cancer cell lines, as well as alterations in Toll-like receptor and interlukin signaling in K562 cells when compared with normal myeloid CD33+ cells. Such analyses provide global visualization of critical differences between normal tissues and cancer cell lines but can be applied to many other scenarios.
Here, we present Enrichr, an integrative web-based and mobile software application that includes many new gene-set libraries, a new approach to rank enriched terms, and powerful interactive visualizations of the results in new ways. Enrichr is delivered as an HTML5 web-based application and also as a mobile app for the iPhone, Android and Blackberry. Users are provided with the ability to share the results with collaborators and export vector graphic figures that display the enrichment results in a publication ready format. We evaluated the ability of Enrichr to rank terms from gene-set libraries by comparing the Fisher exact test to a method we developed which computes the deviation from the expected rank for terms. To evaluate various methods that rank enriched terms, we analyzed lists of differentially expressed genes from studies that measured gene expression after knockdown of transcription factors to see the ranking of the knocked down factors using a transcription-factor/target-gene library [10]. We show that the deviation from the expected rank method ranks more relevant terms higher. We also applied Enrichr to analyze nine cancer cell lines by comparing their enrichment signature patterns to the enrichment signatures of matched normal tissues. Such analysis provides a global visualization of critical regulatory differences between normal tissues and cancer cell lines. In particular, we observed a common pattern of up regulation of the PRC2 polycomb group target genes and enrichment for the histone mark H3K27me3 in many cancer cell lines. The global view of enrichment signature patterns also clearly unravels that Toll-like receptor signaling is turned off in K562 cells when compared to normal CD33+ myeloid cells, whereas interleukin signaling stays intact in both cell types. Overall, Enrichr is an easy to use intuitive enrichment analysis web-based tool providing various types of visualization summaries of collective functions of gene lists. 2ff7e9595c
